As our elderly population grows, families are thrust into complex care decisions without guidance, resources, or support. The cost of this unpreparedness is profound - critical conversations never happen, plans remain unmade, and life-changing decisions are forced in hospital corridors rather than thoughtfully crafted at kitchen tables.

Without urgent action to build proper support systems, millions of Australian families will continue to face one of life's most challenging transitions without the tools and support they need to navigate it well.

We're advocating for every Australian family caught in the care gap - because when we combine compassion with practical support, we can make these challenging years more manageable, more dignified, and more meaningful for everyone involved.

Violet is a national not-for-profit that helps Australian families navigate the last stages of life. We pair families with trained Guides who have been through similar experiences, while our Virtual Care Platform provides 24/7 access to resources and planning tools. Having supported over 25,000 Australians, our goal is simple: to help families have important conversations early, make clear plans, and ensure people get the care and support they want, in the way they want it.

We're asking the Federal Government to fund Violet so all Australians can access our information, support programs and resources.
